How to Grow Your Hair Faster

I get most of your beauty queries about hair loss, split ends and growing out hair. Some ask me if anti hair fall shampoos really work. I feel that hair loss is over-rated by the beauty industry. You are supposed to lose at least a hundred hair strands in a day. If you try to think of it that’s a lot of hair.  That’s a tough thing to digest about how to grow your hair when you lose so much. Worry not, the life of each hair strand is very long. You want to focus on maximizing that life and avoid any premature hair fall and hair damage. That’s how you get long hair. Overall, a good internal and external care is required. There is no pill to pop or shampoo to use solution when it comes to growing long luscious beautiful healthy hair. Read on. I can club all points together but I will try to make each one small so you have a clear list of things to do for effective hair growth.

Read on...This is not just a hair growth list but also includes professional tips so you can rock your long locks this year!

Not Your Usual New Year Resolutions

Image: Instagram

Are you tired of making a list of New Year resolutions year after year those are plain unrealistic? Have you given up and decided not to make a list this year? Are your most common resolutions lose weight and save more money?
Then worry not, because I’m about to share a short list of my new year resolutions that are not just a list of resolutions but small easy steps everyone can implement to live a happier life. Simple steps go a long way and I've tracked down few habits that cause major stress and how giving priority to these steps would evidently make you happy day by day. Your most important resolution should be being happy. And you must already know that stress is a major age-er which causes wrinkles, health issues, unhappiness, weight gain and I can just go on with the list. What I’m trying to do is target the root problem first so that sooner or later rest of the stuff falls in harmony just as you want it to. The problem is not that you’re not working out or not eating healthy but you do not understand what is causing all that. You do not know why you are not doing the things you want to do. You feel like you’re aging pretty fast and you don’t have time to do the things you always wanted because it has been repeating every year. You make a list and there is not one thing you are proud of or achieved that you cherish.

Read on.. you'll just love my list.

From Blogging to Business

What does it take? To be able to start and have a successful self-made business in today's economy?

In fact, fashion bloggers around the world have turned their passion into their business. The online business community transited from blogging to passion of doing what they love. Many, especially females have been seen to easily evolve from the blogging sphere to business industry.

Blogging seems to shed light and clarity of what they are capable of and they build a strong online presence through persistent interesting content. This has helped them build a strong fan base turned audience as well as recognize the target market. It looks like a pretty easy transition but it takes time to grow as a blogger turned business. It takes a lot of writing, content, social media, marketing and good ethics. Using professional photos has also been a core content for quality blogging.
But on top of all I feel the passion and the ability to provide genuine and quality products or service makes it worthwhile in the long term. You are producing and selling not retailing in such a business.

Read on to know the struggles, the growth, success and future of online business.

Black Matte Nails

One of the top innovations in the beauty world this year would be the matte nails look. They add instant drama and many colors become safer to wear. For the one I did you just need one coat and some glitter nail polish then keep layer free hand (absolutely no need of the tape). There is no room for error when dealing with glitter.
And sorry to french mani lovers, you wore it to prom you wore it for your first dates. Its time for an update. Try glitter , neon and contrasting tips and there you have it the new hip mani. Hundreds of images are flooding through Pinterest when it comes to nail art. Polka dots and matte arts have a tie with each other. I just can't decide what I love more this year but I've rocked em both.

The leather effect would be the new for 2013... can't wait to innovate and try! So, what were your favorites this year, and predictions for next year?

Faux Parchment Wall

I've got some more eye candy for you from this faux parchment wall I created plus the natural textures coming soon. I can do a beige or any other monochromatic parchment effect for three-four walls in a room perhaps with bold accent colors?

Materials used:  Sea Sponge, masking tape and loads of newspaper
Method used: By taping off random rectangles and sponging the taped edges.

This method of using two or more similar colors and creating a 3D effect actually adds depth and makes it appear bigger. A previously plain beige painted wall would just cut off the room at it actual size. But this effect adds dimension as well as an illusion of continuity and free space.

Dots and Designs

I've been having some spare time with friends have family on my vacation past month. I still have to blog my photos from DXB airport and being stuck there for almost 24 hours. whooa it was a heck of a stay there after missing my flight.
My sisters enjoy henna art to the fullest and that spare time came in real handy. I so miss my fur-babies... those purrs, nose boops and cuddling right now. Shopped till I dropped and had a great time out catching up with friends. Many got engaged, married, got pregnant and had babies. Truly, the speed of which time passes is incredible and you want to live in the moment. At least that's what I am trying to do here.

A single idea becomes a masterpiece. Ideas need action. Time won't wait for us to do what you love. Doing what you love begins right now. I've been putting off the launch of my brand and boutique for a long time. Maybe I hadn't had the opportunities but when you do your own thing you tap into the latent demand. Finally, I did so, I got a chance to do a classic dress for my friend. She's a sweetheart , just told me she wasn't able to shop in my hometown I was like forget it, I'll do it for you. Took the project and didn't rest until it was started from scratch to its delivery. Only regrets were not being able to see her in it. How the pretty bride to be was a blushing beauty!

And so it happens, I get all sparked up and motivated. Even though I won't have a physical official outlet for my designs I'll still start designing I decided. The brand name was a tough one but I got votes to keep it as 'Rude & Chic' !  I guess I'll stick to it for now. Now, the tough part is getting the labels sown, buying more stock material, sketching out and getting it stitched with perfection which is the core part. I'll be doing all the intricate designing, choice of colors, dyes and all the little details that make a difference. Doesn't seem hard but it takes time and I gotta start soon...

                                                                                                            ... doing what I love!

Letting Go ...

Oh look what I saw one fine day!
Yeah a floating elephant in the bright blue sky... put a big smile on my face instantly. How about that right a floating flying elephant making you smile. haaah! Had to take a shot of this and reminds me of the words freedom, flying, wings, fresh air, calm, happiness, excitement, innocence, and letting go.
Speaking of letting go its a tough deal. No matter how hard to work to fit in certain areas or places its just not that easy to tolerate stuff. The negativity just gets over your soul, energy and wipes away the happiness of the day. One might never fit in no matter how awesome the place is or how great the people were because you're always the odd one out or the wierd one out. Being weird is no big deal but when this being weird makes you feel inferior and being controlled then thats not just about right. There is a sense of suffocation no matter how much you want to open up. These are all signs if you are a true emphatic ... listen to your gut feeling and intuition.

 Let go!

Let go and see the energy of it! How good it feels to not bother. To not care about the negativity and not give a damn what shit people have to say about you. Accepting that fact they will go on and still... you just don't care! Feel it, feel how good that feels. Even though there is a sense of loss it outweighs the sense of floating and positivity you get from letting go. It's a letting go of fear of pleasing people or worrying what they might say about you. I know it seems impossible at a certain point of time but you get to a point your gut tells get out and let go. Listen to it... listen to your inner voice.

And fly!  and wooooosh feel the magic and smile!
